Billionaire Roman Trotsenko became a co-owner of “Bear Mountain” company, which created the project of tourist cluster in Kamchatka. Billionaire Vladimir Potanin is already planning to develop tourism in this region – his park “Three Volcanoes” may become a competitor to Trotsenko’s project

Chairman of Board of Directors of corporation AEON, billionaire Roman Trotsenko #63 became the owner of 81,25% of “Bear Mountain” LLC, says “Kommersant” with reference to the data of USRLE. “Bear Mountain” owns the website, where the presentation of the tourist cluster in the Kamchatka region. The cluster can be built in 71 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and will include organization of skiing and snowboarding, bathing in an outdoor pool with thermal water, mountain climbing, etc.

Andrey Peregudov, former Senior Vice President of VTB, can become Trotsenko’s partner in the project. He owns 18.75% in “Bear Mountain”, Kommersant” points out with reference to the USRLE. The newspaper reminds that Peregudov was the General Director of Dynamo MC that since 2008 was engaged in reconstruction of Dynamo Stadium of FC Moscow and construction of commercial estate in Petrovsky Park. The first match at the renovated stadium was to take place on June 5, 2018 between the national teams of Russia and Turkey. But in April of the same year, it became known that the facility was not ready, and RBC reported on Peregudov’s departure.

Trotsenko is not the only billionaire interested in Kamchatka. In June the plans to develop local tourism were announced by Vladimir Potanin’s Interros #2 . Created together with Sergey Bachin, the head of the board of directors of the development group “Aganta”, the company was called “The Three Volcanoes Park”. The declared volume of investments in the project is 39,2 billion rubles. In case of implementation of both projects the competition between them could be fierce, writes “Kommersant”. Now Kamchatka annually brings about 300,000 people and the volume of tourist traffic grows by no more than 5% a year, told the newspaper the general director of tour operator “Dolphin” Sergey Romashkin.

Last year “Bear Mountain” applied to Rospatent for registration of the trademark Оsyotr for the class of restaurants, said “Kommersant”. The restaurant may be the second joint project of Roman Trotsenko and Andrei Peregudov.
